Jungle Explorers role play pack This role play works particularly well in the outside are but can be used indoors too to create a colourful and stimulating role play area. Resources include: Coloured pictures of jungle animals for the children to find Black and white pictures of the animals so the children can colour or collage them Badge for the jungle explorers to wear Identity badges for the explorers Word and picture cards showing some of the kit the explorers will need Check lists and forms to fill in to check the kit Check lists, forms, sketch books etc for the explorers to fill in when they have found some jungle animals Animal footprints- print out and leave trails for the children to find and follow A large A-Z alphabet with each letter decorated with animal patterns Number up to 50 on leaves- great to use if you are creating the role play area indoors Colour photographs of some jungle animals

This Maths and Literacy center pack is perfect for Autumn / Fall with themes of leaves, pumpkins etc. There are 9 centers included- 4 for Maths, and 5 for Literacy. Repeating patterns- make repeating patterns using the colored Fall themed picture cards and then use the recording sheets to draw your patterns or use on of the three cut and paste sheets to continue the patterns. Count and clip- count and the Fall pictures up to ten and clip with a paperclip or peg. There is a recording sheet to write the number and fill in a ten frame. Math match- complete the jigsaws with a number pumpkin, ten frame and tally complete with a recording sheet. Number ordering- Order the numbered Fall leaves and then complete the recording sheet to cut and stick numbers 1-10 in order or 1-5. Lower and upper case matching- match the leaves with upper case letters and lower case letters plus a recording sheet to record some of the matches. Rhyming pumpkins- 24 sets of rhyming pairs with pictures on pumpkins. There are two recording sheets for students to draw their rhyming pairs and four sheets to cut and paste with two difficulties. Word family sorting- sort the apples onto the trees with word families _at, _en, _ip, _og, _ug, _an. There are three recording sheets each with 2 word families on each to write the words and six recording sheets which each cover a word family for the students to cut and paste the apples. Initial sounds- Three sets of Fall themed picture cards for students to choose a card and trace the initial sound letter on the apple tree. Sentence scramble- Six sets of sentence cards to rearrange to make the sentence and a recording sheet for each sentence to cut and paste the words and then copy the sentence.

A bright and colourful set of alphabet crayons-great for displays, flashcards, games etc This is a CD with three great alphabet crayons sets. One has the lower and upper case alphabet, a second has just the lower case letters and a third has just upper case alphabet. These would make a great display for your classroom. Alternatively they could be used as flashcards when teaching the sounds. The lower case and upper case crayons could also be used to play matching pairs or used to make a display for the children to match the lower case letter to the upper case letter. The crayons are in files with three crayons on each A4 page. However you could change your printer settings to print the crayons larger or smaller. The font used on the crayons is Sassoon Primary Infant which is widely used in Primary schools. The crayons are saved as PDF files and can be opened using Adobe Acrobat Reader which is available for free from their website or is probably already on your computer.
